Wireless Memory Cards from Eye-Fi
We’re excited to announce that Eye-Fi wireless memory cards have arrived on the shelves at Warehouse Express, ready to make your Christmas. It’s time to make your digital camera wireless and experience hassle free image transfer – or even better – as a great gift for your cable-shy family member (Hi Sis!)
The Eye-Fi wireless memory cards are available in three flavours (Home, Share & Pro) and work with almost any digital camera with a SD memory slot. The camera compatibility list is quite extensive, but make sure you check it to avoid disappointment.
The entry-level Home memory card allows you to transfer JPEG images or video files (.MPG, .MOV, .FLV, .WMV, .AVI and .MP4) to a computer over your home Wi-Fi network. Upgrading to the Share version adds the ability to automatically upload to a variety of websites, including FlickR and Facebook. The king of the range is the Pro version which has integrated geotagging*, ad-hoc wireless transfer (without a wireless router) and RAW files support (.CRW, .CR2, .NEF, .NRW, .DNG, .PTX, .PEF, .RAW and .RW2).
* Eye-Fi notes that RAW files aren’t geotagged because there isn’t a universal standard set yet, unlike location metadata in JPEG files.

Setting up an Eye-Fi wireless memory card is a simple process; enter your home Wi-Fi network details and pick the folder you’d like the images to be transferred to (setup via the USB memory card reader included). Then pop the Eye-Fi memory card into your camera’s SD slot and you’re away!
