Tough going on The Ben

I shall start by getting straight to the point; I wanted to buy a tough camera that could accompany me on my climbing, walking and canoeing trips and I’d narrowed my choice down to one of 4 point and shoot cameras; the Panasonic FT3, the Fuji XP30, the Olympus TG-810 and the Pentax WG-1 GPS. As such, in an act of selfless generosity I offered to review of all four during a trip to Scotland to climb Ben Nevis.

Celebrating Micro Four Thirds

It is difficult to overstate the impact that the announcement of the Panasonic G system of Micro Four Thirds cameras had on the photographic world in September 2008. Panasonic Lumix LX3 Review

Panasonic Lumix G1 Digital SLR

The Panasonic Lumix G1 is a new 12.1 megapixel digital SLR which uses a 4/3rds ratio sensor. The Lumix G1 features a high-resolution electronic Live View Finder (LVF), 3 inch tilt-swivel LCD screen, integrated sensor cleaning and contrast autofocus.
