Canon’s PowerShot D10 makes a splash!

Canon have splashed into the underwater digital camera market with the addition of the Canon PowerShot D10 digital camera to their range. The announcement came as part of their recent spate of pre-PMA launches, which also included three other PowerShot’s, the SX200, A1100 and A2100, as well as a further four models for the IXUS range, the Canon IXUS 95, 100, 110 and 990 IS.

Underwater Imaging World – Pentax W60

There were a host of underwater displays on show at Photokina 2008, not least of which was the Photokina Underwater Imaging World. Over 250 square meters of the massive show were dedicated to giving visitors an underwater experience and showcasing how best to take good photos of underwater scenes.

Olympus go wet ‘n’ wild

The latest in Olympus’ “Tough” range of digital compact cameras is the Olympus Mju 1050 SW – shockproof to 1.5m, waterproof to 3m and freezeproof to -10°c, the Mju 1050SW also features a 10 megapixel sensor, 3x zoom lens, Advanced Face Detection, Shadow Adjustment, Noise Reduction, Image Stabilisation and a 2.7” LCD screen. On top of this, the Olympus Mju 1050 SW incorporates TAP technology which enables you to adjust settings and review your images just by tapping the shutter release button.

Fantastic Fuji FinePix
