Hi, i’m a professional dancer. i need to make a showreel pertaining to my promotions. I also would like to use some animation. Can someone suggest me a fantastic animation studio, but possibly not very expensive? I’m here for 3 months for a tour.

For extra zoom with the Lumix LX3 or the Leica DLUX 4(Same camera) drop the size a little and use the optional zoom, Not the digital zoom.

This is hands down the very best compact I have ever had the pleasure to own. Because in every sense, the LX3 is a joy to use, and the results are almost always better than expected.
A pleasant surprise was to have switched from JPGs to RAW with the arrival of Aperture 3 – the tones and the textures it captures are perfection.

OK, so it does need a bit more zoom. Were it to take me to 105mm I would be in heaven…!

For several months now my wife’s (well some of the time, anyway) LX3 has competed against a Canon G10, a Canon EOS 400D and a Fujifilm Finepix S200 EXR. It has effortlessly produced all the best shots. It’s that lens that does it…I’m convinced.

As a backup to my DSLR this camera has been a great addition to my kit bag. It is used for quick shots for web work and also is great just stuffed in a coat pocket when I do not want to lug my DSLR and lenses around. Great functionaility and lots of options.
