Hi Paul,
You're right that it's a pivotal time in this new 'mid market' for SLD cameras. Olympus and Panasonic have got a head start but also played a very canny hand. They have answered the reservation that a new system will be low on lens choice for a while by embrancing both the full size Four Thirds lenses and fostering a range of adaptors for also everything else. Sony and Samsung have chosen a more proprietorial route -which gives them other strengths. I have been very impressed by the quality of the Pens as a whole - their image quality as much as their design. You're getting back to the film paradigm where the recording media (once film now a sensor) can be broadly common to your 'compact' or SLR and the lens you choose which has most influence on the image.

I want a quality camera , thats small enough to fit in my pocket and good enough to compare to the sort of equipment i use as a professional wedding photographer.

Im not sure if the Micro Four Thirds will bnecome a new standard in photography?

Im still looking for the ideal perfect pocket camera. :-)

"It’s the kind of aesthetic which produces jewel like objects people want whether they need them or not."

Absolutely - and there just aren't enough of these kinds of things around today - possessions to have just for the joy that owning them brings.
