I’ve used the E-620 for over a year,mostly in the tropics
South East Asia,This camera is a dream to use.I travel
with the E-620 and four lenses and flash,no weight at
all.Love it.Wish i could afford the E-5

I’m glad you’ve all had the same positive experience I did, thanks for the feedback. As I said, I enjoyed the E-420 and E-3 but the E-620 does pretty much cram in almost everything from the E-3 while being only slightly bigger than the E-420. I’m hoping for a small weatherproof body but in the meantime the E-3 is still the best companion for a day at sea or in a monsoon!

I, too, am very happy with the E-620. So far I’ve been shooting exclusively with the awesome 12-60 SWD. Next up is the 9-18. Indeed, I’m so happy with the Olympus system that I’m thinking about dropping 2 grand on the awe-inspiring 150mm f/2. The only thing that would make me even happier is to get a *compact* weatherproofed body with 100% finder, similar to the Pentax K-7. It’s ironic. The best weatherproofed lenses are being made by Olympus but the best weatherproofed body (for my purposes) is made by Pentax.

I totally agree with everything in your review. I bought the E-620 a couple of weeks ago after reading several reviews and upgrading from my trusty Olympus OM2n 35mm SLR. I have been very impressed with the features and handling of the E-620, but most of all the image quality. Overall for price, performance, features and build quality this is a great camera that I would highly recommend.

as a travel pro , i wanted to change to a micro 4/3rds for portability – dam glad i didnt and chose the e620 instead. even with a couple of kit lenses and a pro lens, the whole lot fits into a smallish bag for travle use. great image quality and reliability. buy one you wont regret it!!

This is a great product. Perfect for walking about and shooting great pictures. Having it you’re more likely to have a camera with you at all time. That’s certainly my plan.
