Limited edition Leica M8 – it’s cool!
Leica is arguably one of the most stylish photography brands in the world and this June they are doing little to dispell that idea by releasing this limited edition version of the Leica M8. The body of the limited M8 is covered in smooth nappa cowhide and finished with a white lacquer. The quirky appearance only adds to the cool, retro look of the Leica M8, making this special version exactly that, special. Whilst white might not be the most practical of colours, at a sniff under £6000 for the camera, we don’t think you’re likely to be taking it into any particularly dirty locations any time soon…
The Leica M8 is the first digital camera to use sapphire crystal glass in its camera screen, making it hard-wearing and resistant to scratching. Complete with 10.8 megapixels and Leica’s distortion free trademark wide-angled lens, the M8 comes with a white leather carry case to ensure that the camera always oozes style even when tucked safely away.
So if you’re keen to get your hands on this little beauty, the models are currently expected to be shipped to the UK in August and will be available at selected Leica dealers, including Red Dot Cameras, Richard Caplan Photographic and R G Lewis.
