Fancy modelling for Rankin?

Famous photographer Rankin has announced his most challenging project to date. Rankin Live! will use up-to-the-minute technology to shoot and print the portraits of 1,000 Britons on site at his museum scale exhibition in August 2009 at the Truman Brewery in London.

Rankin is famous for his photo shoots of Tony Blair, Kate Moss and The Queen amongst others, but this time he wants YOU to get involved! If you are aged over 13 and have a distinctive sense of style and British eccentricity and enthusiasm, you could find yourself in front of Rankin’s camera.

To be in with a chance of meeting the man himself, just submit a photo of yourself to rankinlive@rankin.co.uk along with an explanation of why Rankin should take your photo.

Portraits cost £50 and all the profits go to Oxfam. The whole process will take 15 minutes from pressing down the shutter to the hanging of the printed portrait – amazing!
