This was the 3rd Warehouse Express and Andy Rouse seminar to be held at Slimbridge Wildlife and Wetland Trust, a superb venue for nature lovers and therefore a great venue for Andy’s seminars, as they are so focused on wildlife. This time, Warehouse Express sent our resident bird photographer along to get an enthusiast’s insight in to what these seminars had to offer.

With less than a month to go before one of the most important events in the imaging diary, Warehouse Express take a look at some of the speculation flying about regarding what new and exciting cameras PMA 2009 might bring.

Despite having met Andy on a couple of occasions previously, I’d never had much of a chance to speak to him about his work. As such, as we pulled up in the Slimbridge WWT car-park in Gloucestershire, I was probably looking forward to the day as much as the 90 photo-enthusiasts

On Sunday 26th October 2008, a deluge of enthusiastic photographers and Andy Rouse fans hit the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust in Slimbridge

Hasselblad weren’t showing off at Photokina 2008. Instead they simply exuded class. Hordes of visitors soaked up the experience of their area: hands-on H3DII tours, live studio photography, Phocus software demos and the inspiring Masters 2008 gallery.

Now we’ve returned from traipsing the many and very, very long boards of the Photokina halls, we thought we’d do a run down of the things that most caught our eye whilst in Deutschland.

Whilst wandering the floors of Photokina, we came across a sight that made our weary feet stop, forget their tiredness and run over to check out what it was all about! Yukon Advanced Optics are treating visitors to the show with a surprise in the shape of a Terminator/Robocop/Transformer-style moving camera.
