The new device enables you to save your location so you can walk away without worrying how you will get back. Whether the place you need to find is your car, your tent, your house or anywhere at all, arrows around the edge of the screen point in the direction of your saved location and the screen also tells you how far away from that location you are. You can save up to three locations at any one time and this simple gadget enables you to navigate between them quickly and easily. If you are out walking and you find a spot that would be great for photographing a sunrise or sunset later, save the location and be safe in the knowledge that you will be able to find it again at the appropriate time.
The Bushnell BackTrack guides you back to your chosen location using a high sensitivity SiRF star III GPS receiver on its self-calibrating digital compass. No need for fussing over pinpointing your location on a plethora of maps, simply log your location and you’ll know which way it is and how far it is any time you need to.
Weighing in at only 73 grams, the Bushnell BackTrack can be carried around your neck using the included Lanyard, or slipped into a coat pocket or the accessory pouch of your kit bag. The weatherproof device requires two AAA batteries to function and is available in Grey/Orange, Pink/Grey, Tech Grey and Green.
